Belle de Jour Rendezvous: Wellness Work-Up

Last week, I got the chance to the very first Belle de Jour Rendezvous for 2013 which was held at Ace Water Spa, Pasig. It was entitled "Wellness Work-Up". I arrived quite early and was feeling nervous since its my first time to attend a BDJ event. :)

The event was hosted by Jasmine Mendiola who was so witty and friendly! :)
                   

Before mag start ang talk, they conducted a game called "Bring Me" (o diba! bagong bago!) glad that I didnt arrive late kundi, no more games for me. hehe.
 haha! our team won! thanks to Bauhaus for the prizes! 
                                     
The BDJ Team invited three speakers to teach, motivate and inspire the ladies.

1st talk- Spring Up Your Wardrobe with Vania Ramoff, Philippine Fashion Week S/S 2013 Designer
She presented the upcoming outfits for the year 2013: Black & White, Ruffles, Kimono Robes, Stripes, Short Suits, Lace dresses and Pick a boo.


Ms. Vania gave us tips for choosing what to wear. According to her, you should also consider your body type when it comes to trendspotting, "if its bagay or not". She was so pretty and all we could do was stare at her angelic face. :)

2nd talk- Don't Stress It Out with Ducky Villanueva, Professional Councelor and Instructor at John Robert Powers. She taught us how to minimize stress and preventing it from getting worst. We also learned basic exercises from head to toe. The bellas got bubbly when she performed the HA, HE, HI, HO, HU laughing therapy. Ms. Ducky was so alive and energetic! Her segment was very helpful especially for ladies who are facing everyday issues that bothers them.

3rd talk- A Youthful Fit with Lara Parpan, Editor-in-Chief of Women's Health Magazine. Ms. Lara's segment was about working out and eating right. She gave us tips about fitness and sports activities that we could do as ladies. We learned a lot from her like Pilates is the best exercise to achieve a flatter tummy and skipping breakfast is a no-no. Doing so will let our bodies release the stress hormone called Cortisol (responsible for saving fats in our body).

During the break, delicious foods were served by Ace Coffee Lounge. Tea Sandwich (ham and chicken), Putta Puttanesca, Buffalo Wings, Brownies and Red Tea were on the menu.
